Checkra1n Jailbreak Permanent the Best Tool created by Axi0mx

The developer and hacker Axi0mX announced in September a new Xploit called “Checkm8” that offers the possibility of releasing almost all the Apple A series CPUs up to the Bionic A11 chip. Today they are launching Checkra1n, the first public Jailbreak tool compatible with iPhone and iPad with iOS 13.

If you are not used to Jailbreak, it generally refers to the removal of iOS software restrictions on Apple devices to install applications outside the App Store and even modify the entire system.

The “Checkm8” method used by Checkra1n is considered “incompatible” as it is based on a hardware vulnerability. That means that Apple cannot simply patch it with a software update, and that is why the tool is compatible with the latest iOS 13 update now available to the public. More specifically, the new tool is capable of Jailbreaking on almost all Apple devices between iPhone 5s and iPhone X with iOS 12.3 and later versions.

For now, Checkra1n is available as a beta version, so there are some concerns about the process. The tool is not compatible with some older iPad models, which include the iPad Air 2, the first-generation iPad Pro and the fifth-generation iPad. The iPhone 5s, iPad mini 2, iPad mini 3 and the original iPad Air are compatible, but some users may experience problems with these devices.

It uses a semi-attached method, which requires a computer to reload system modifications at each reboot. Jailbreaks without ties are the most desired since they can boot without a computer like normal iPhones.

The application needed to run the Jailbreak process is only available to macOS at this time. The team is working on versions for Windows and Linux, which will be added in a later version.

  • iPhone 5s to iPhone X.
  • iPad 2 to iPad 7.
  • iPad mini 1 to iPad mini 4.
  • Apple TV 3 to Apple TV 4K (from the same application).
  • iPod touch 5 to iPod touch 7.
  • iPad Air 2nd generation.
  • iPad 5th generation.
  • iPad Pro 1st generation.

This is a semi-tied Jailbreak, which means you need to have a computer every time you restart your device or want to check Jailbreak.

Currently, Checkra1n Jailbreak is only available for Mac users, support for Windows and Linux will be added later.

Before starting this iOS 13 Jailbreak process, I recommend that you perform a full backup of your device, as it is a new jailbreak.

Step 1:
First, you must download the file (.dmg) to install it on your computer.

Step 2:
After you open the downloaded file, it will look like this then, now drag and drop to the applications on the right side. After that, open the applications folder on your Mac and open the Checkra1n utility from there for iOS 13 jailbreak

You may receive a notification about the authentication of the Jailbreak Checkra1n utility of iOS 13, as Apple performs security verification when you download an application from the Internet. If you get it, go to System Preferences -> Security and privacy, there you will see an option to open the application anyway, click to open. Only when you receive a notification to authenticate applications.

Step 3:
After opening the jailbreak Checkra1n utility for iOS 13, connect your device to the computer. When you connect, you need to authenticate your device this time. Go to the search engine under the device tab, you must navigate to it.

Stage 4:
Press the home button, it will show you a little information on how to put your device in DFU mode. They provide us with a guide on how to do it. But you may face difficulties through the iOS 13 Jailbreak verification utility, but don’t worry! Follow some steps below to put your device in DFU mode depending on the devices you have.

Step 5:
Press the start button, your device will first show that it is in recovery mode and then in DFU mode after the Jailbreak Checkra1n installation process starts. This process is done to avoid file system corruption.

Step 6:
After that, your device will be in working mode for verification and will show you different information about what is happening. Once this is done, the iOS 13 Jailbreak Checkra1n is installed on your device, and you can see the Checkra1n logo on your home screen.

Step 7:
Open the Checkra1n Jailbreak application there you will have to install Cydia. Currently, only Cydia is available, support for other package managers such as Zebra and Installer will be added later.

Now that you have successfully performed a Jailbreak with iOS 13 Checkra1n Jailbreak, all packages are there in Cydia, and you can install whatever you want on the iOS 13 Jailbreak device.

Later, when other package managers are added to Checkra1n Jailbreak, you can install them from the loader in Checkra1n.

Also, if you have any problems with iOS 13 Jailbreak and want to get rid of Jailbreak, or if you want to remove the settings or if you want to reinstall / update the Jailbreak Checkra1n, go to this article and follow the process step by step.

Important information: every time you restart your phone, you must reopen the Jailbreak Checkra1n application installed on your computer and put the device in DFU mode. You cannot open the mobile application already installed on your device after restarting the phone because the Checkra1n application installed on your device is not to enable Jailbreak on your device.

This is how you can install iOS 13 Checkra1n Jailbreak, and this BootRom-based Jailbreak is compatible with iOS 12.3 through iOS 13.2.2. It is also compatible with iPhone 5s up to iPhone X.
